Mission Save a Smile, founded in 2007 by Dr. Burseth and family, is a 501 (c) (3) public charity dedicated to extending the reach of dentistry to impoverished communities lacking access to care. Mission Save a Smile is in its 9th year of providing preventative and restorative care for several indigenous communities in Panama. The Kuna and Embera communities experience decay rates at pandemic proportions.
